The world didn’t end when the zombies arrived. The outbreak was mostly contained, except for some highly-infected, no-go zones. One such zombified area? Las Vegas. But there’s always opportunity in the City of Sin. A group of well-trained and equipped mercenaries have found out about a vault full of cash, ripe for the taking, and the only thing standing in there way is … well, the undead. Can they make it in and out of the vault without becoming part of the all-you-can-eat buffet? Will they be able to work together to survive, or will their own agendas get in the way? That’s up to you to find out … if you’re ready for it.
Based on the movie directed by Zack Snyder, Army of the Dead: A Zombicide Game, is a new form of the classic, cooperative zombie-slaying game, but pumped up to the adrenaline-busting extreme! Players must work together in order to survive the wasteland of Las Vegas and get into the casino’s vault to score tons of cash. Along the way, they’ll face all-new types of zombies, including Shamblers, Alphas, the Queen, Zeus, and even Valentine, the Zombie Tiger. Players can also attempt side-quests, exploring each Survivor’s motivations in the desert. Thankfully, these Survivors are no random citizens; they’re combat veterans with plenty of knowledge of firearms and demolitions. When these soldiers roll the dice, all bets are off. And when it comes to Zombicide, this one will be more extreme than ever before.
New types of Zombies - Survivors will have to face Alphas, Shamblers, and new types of Abominations, each with its own new game mechanic. Zeus, the great villain of the movie, has different phases on the boardgame, and each one needs to be dealt with a different way. On top of that, the zombie Queen and Valentine, the Zombie Tiger, are also there to make things even more dangerous.
Highly Detailed Figures - The mercenaries and zombies are represented on the tabletop by highly detailed, colored plastic figures.
Standalone Experience - Army of the Dead: A Zombicide Game is a new, self-contained, standalone experience in the Zombicide franchise, offering new and exclusive mechanics and gameplay experience.
